The Snake River Field Station (SRFS) conducts science in the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain West. Research areas include raptor population dynamics, plant ecology, restoration, shrubsteppe ecosystems, avian monitoring, wildfire, conservation biology, monitoring, and statistical methods.
The SRFS is co-located with the Raptor Research Center on the campus of Boise State University. Scientists maintain strong, cooperative ties with graduate programs on campus, as well as other agencies and institutions.
